30 Day Drawing Challenge: Days Five, Six, and Seven.

Here are the last few days from my 30 Day Drawing Challenge.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I know I did!

Day Five: Draw your best friend.  I'm married to mine.

Day Six: Draw your favorite character from a book, that isn't a movie.  Flannery Culp, from The Basic Eight.  Go read it now.

Day Seven: Draw your favorite word.  I didnt know if this meant to draw the actual word, or what the word represents.  I chose the former.

Contemplating Supplies.

I get asked about the supplies I use a lot for my artwork...and for the most part (besides the last week or so) it has all been actual art on paper.  I've been very reluctant to use any digital media...here are some of my favorite supplies, and the containers in which they are stored.

I love nothing more than I love a fresh box of crayons.
More after the jump...

Flowers.

Spent my day off Christmas shopping.  I AM POOPED.  So I sprawled out on the sofa and made this...

Paper Sculpture: Skeleton.

So, in addition to making a really yummy butternut squash risotto tonight, I decided to make this paper sculpture of a skeleton.  I'm not to familiar with the process of making 3-d paper art projects, but after seeing the amazing work that Kevin Kidney has been making, I thought I'd give it a shot.  Enjoy.

Here is a Christmas poster I just made.  Try not to loose your mind during the holidays...it'll all be over soon, I promise.
